Kadamb Japan is one of the most popular Kathak Institutes in Tokyo since 2007. We dance Lucknow Gharana of Kathak with respect to the Graceful choreography of Guru Kumudini Lakhia ji. Atsuko Maeda, director of Kadamb Japan, is the most active Kathak dancer in Tokyo, awarded ICCR's Pratibha Sangam Award (2022). Tridhara Japan is a performance group of Odissi dance. The main school is located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. With permission from Director Guru Sri Gajendra Kumar Panda, Chisato Miura launched the Japan chapter in 2016. They spread and promote Guru Debaprasad Das Style, a unique dance style that incorporates folk and tribal elements. They have performed at India Mela, performances hosted by the Consulate General of India and more.

In 2003, she started Bharatanatyam at Nagoya ( Sakurai Akemi) and performed in numerous performances. In 2009, she moved to Fukuoka and studied under Fukunaga Miyuki. In December 2014, she completed her Arangetnam , and has continued to improve her skills while working as a company employee, as well as performing on stage. In 2023, she began studying under Tanaka Yumiko. She is currently working to promote Bharatanatyam and provide private instruction.

1999年二ユーデリーで妊娠2ヵ月半でアランゲトラム。師範披露公演。その後帰国してシングルマザーとして、子育てしながらインド舞踊の修行を続ける。神田明神、靖国神社能楽堂、田無神社、三峰神社で奉納舞踊。ソロリサイタルも多数。ヒンドゥーの神々と戦没者の慰霊をテーマに祈りの舞としてのバラタナティヤムダンサーを目指して、修練を続ける。現在、石川県の実家に帰り、地元のお寺と金沢の中日文化センターでインド舞踊を教える。
